Returns and refund policy:

All customers are required to email brett@securealid.com within 30 days of purchasing to request a refund or replacement unit:

Circumstances where we accommodate returns or refunds:

1: When the incorrect product has been delivered.

Please email brett@securealid.com with photo evidence of the incorrect product being delivered. Once this has been confirmed we will pay for postage of the incorrect unit to be returned to us and then once we receive the original incorrect product we will send you out the correct unit at our cost.

2: Manufacturing faults.

If you believe you have received a part with manufacturing faults, please email brett@securealid.com with photo evidence. Once reviewed and confirmed we will send out a replacement unit immediately.

Manufacturing faults can include warped parts or whole sections or areas of the product not being formed correctly

3: The product never arrived

Firstly, please check the tracking information supplied in your order delivery confirmation email, which you will receive once your order is processed.  If you’re unable to locate where it is from here please email brett@securealid.com for him to follow up the tracking. If the carrier cannot supply proof of delivery (with a photo of the unit at your front door) then we will send you out a new order immediately. If the carrier can provide evidence of the parcel being delivered than it is assumed to be stolen and we will not refund or replace the order.

4: You need to cancel the order

Please email brett@securealid.com to cancel as soon as possible. If your email is received before you receive your order delivery confirmation email than we have not sent your order yet and we will cancel your order and send you a full refund. If you have received your order delivery confirmation than your order has already been sent. If you wish to still cancel the order than you will need to return the delivery at your expense to PO Box 1043 Gailes QLD Australia with the unit/s still in the original packaging. Once received we will process your refund which will be the full refund minus our initial shipping costs.

5: You ordered the wrong product and wish to exchange it for another product

If you received your order and realise you have ordered the incorrect items and you wish to exchange them than you will need to email brett@securealid.com and let Brett know. To do this you will be required to return the incorrect items in the original packaging at your expense to PO Box 1043 Gailes QLD Australia. Then to receive the correct exchanged goods you will be required to pay the additional postage back to your home address.

Circumstances where we don’t accommodate refunds or returns

1: The item isn’t what you expected

We have detailed descriptions, animations and videos of how our product’s work. It is your responsibility to read and watch these videos which demonstrate in great detail what the items are capable of.  If you are not sure about a product and have questions, please email brett@securealid.com and he will clarify for you.

2: The item has been stolen or broken

Due to our products being used in a public environment where theft or vandalism can occur we do not provide warranty for stolen or broken items once they are secured to your bins.

3: Mis-use of our Wheelie Bin Lock product

Using our Wheelie Bin Lock product to protect overfilled bins is not allowed, our website explicitly warns of this and the product comes with a warning inside the packaging. Engaging our Wheelie Bin Lock product when your bin is overfilled will likely cause the gravity release arm mechanism to break upon garbage collection. We will however accommodate a replacement part at the buyers expense, please email brett@securealid.com if you wish to do this.
